Cookie policy
What we store on your device, what each thing is for, and how to change your mind.

The short version
Nothing that tracks you is set until you accept it. If you decline, the site still works and we still count anonymous visits, but nothing is stored that can follow you between sessions.
You can change your choice at any time using the link at the end of this page.
Strictly necessary
These are needed for the site to function and are not optional. They are set whatever you choose.
Your cookie choice. Stored so we do not ask you again on every page. Kept for twelve months.
Enquiry state. If you start the enquiry form, your answers are held on your own device so you do not lose them if you navigate away. Cleared when you submit.
Analytics
Set only if you accept them. We use Google Analytics to understand which pages are read and where people stop.
If you decline, Google Analytics still receives a record that a page was viewed, but with no identifier attached, so it cannot recognise you on a later visit or link your visits together.
Cookies used: _ga and _ga_*, kept for up to two years.
Advertising
Set only if you accept them. Where you arrive from a paid advert, advertising platforms may set identifiers that let them measure whether their advert led to an enquiry.
We also send a record of completed enquiries to advertising platforms from our server. That is not a cookie and is covered in the privacy policy.
Changing your mind
You can also clear cookies in your browser settings, which will reset your choice and make us ask again.
